At the campaign rally, McCain was asked if an attack on Iran is in the works, the GEORGETOWN TIMES reports.
McCain began his answer by changing the words to a popular BEACH BOYS song.
“Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran,” he sang to the tune of Barbara Ann.
I guess this is the kind of rhetoric (lyric?) that one needs to get reep primary votes in the South. OTOH, this is completely demented. I really think that McCain is losing it.

I saw the vid at Suzie-Q's. Unbelievable.
It was just a joke though. Yes, a major figure like him probably shouldn't be joking about bombing another country, but he did go on to make serious comments after saying it.
PR, I know, I know. And I do try to keep a sense of humor about me, I just don't think its funny to joke about bombing a country we are nearly at war with.
McCain is holding 12% of his own party,if I were McCain I would be trying to get in touch with at least middle America. He has been committed on this (Iraq) for a long time, he just seems to be digging a hole for himself and it probably is just in fun, the Iran thing but it is time for him to broaden his perspectives.
Was McCain joking? He has constantly licked Bush's earlobes when embracing the war.
McCain is twisted and insane.

PR, while it was couched as a joke, I think it reflected a deeper underlying desire, one that he knew would resonate with his audience.
