Cindy Sheehan: You Will Be Missed

Cindy Sheehan is hanging up her peace signs and retiring from the peace movement. I can't even begin to imagine the emotional baggage she carries over losing her son and then becoming the national face of the US peace movement - along with the right-wing smear campaign against her. Cindy is human, and therefore not without fault. However, America - and the world - owes Cindy Sheehan a huge debt of gratitude.

Cindy's retirement is a huge loss to all who love peace. Equally sad is all the infighting I have seen between progressives. If we keep it up, we may pay a high price, a Republican in the White House in 2009. :-(

Yes, Cindy has dedicated her life to the peace movement. She won't be forgotten anytime soon. :)

Cindy has my vote for the smartest person in the US! She realizes that American Idol is far more important than the stopping of the death of Americans.

That seems to always be the prob with the "Left"--factionalism--one reason they seldom get anything done.

I saw a great fake headline today--"Bush: I Won't Let Sheehan 'Cut And Run'"
Laughed out loud at that one.
